Jeronimos Monastery

Jeronimos Monastery near Tagus river in the parish of Belem tower in Lisbon. This is a former monastery of order oder Saint Jerome. This Monastery represents the late Gothic Manueline style architecture of Portugal.
The history says that Monks used to live here and their job used to provide guidance to the sailor and pray for the king's soul. UNESCO has classified this architecture as World heritage monument. This monastery has elaborated sculpture design and detailing of maritime motifs.  

the cloisters are mesmerizing and magnificent. Every column of this Monastery has its own story and detailed artwork which represents different messages. 


Every year they hold different art exhibition where artists around the world participates. There is a small park in front of the Monastery, which leads to different outdoor siting cafes and restaurant and it is filled with souvenir stores.  

Yes you would require tickets to entry the Monastery. Inside the Monastery you can see the tomb of Vasco De Gama. The ticket price is 10 euros I would suggest to buy the tickets before hand so that you can avoid the line and save time.

Travelling To Denmark

Denmark or Kingdom of Denmark. It is a Nordic country that is situated on the northwestern side of Europe. This country is pretty expensive to travel. I met my Danish friend when I was doing my Specialization in Netherlands. she insisted me to travel to Denmark and enjoy her hospitality. I visited her in my Autumn break. I traveled to Denmark with Flix Bus and it was a 10 hours ride from Netherlands. Well, it was not hard for me as I took the nigh bus. We passed the Hamburg to reach Denmark. I was going to Aarhus that is the second largest city of the Denmark right after Copenhagen. I stayed at my friends place. Moreover, I was staying at hers for 4 days. She was my tour guide and the host.  It was cold in Aarhus however, it was not windy. My friend came to pick me up from the station. I reached Denmark around 9 am in the morning. 5 Things that you should never use on your face

Whenever we have some skin issue we try to look for grandma's recipe, sometimes we even try DIY recipes which we see in Instagram, Facebook, or we search for them in google. Do you know that there are lot of ingredients which are harmful for your skin? which may burn your skin or make your acne or pimples worse.
