Road Trip to Hamburg

Me and My friends went for coffee after our class. We were talking about travelling and cultures. Suddenly, one of my friend suggested that why don;t we go for a road trip on coming weekend. spontaneously, we made the plan that we will visit Hamburg as that is the nearest destination from Leeuwarden. Trip time is only 4 hours from Leeuwarden. We sat in cafe for 2 hours and planned the whole trip, we booked the car and decided to stay in hostel. We decided that we will leave on Friday and come back on Sunday. Everything was final and I was extremely excited. We started our trip on March 15, Friday. We finished our class and started our journey. It was a bright sunny day.
We had loads of fun while driving. We played different types of game to pass our time. After driving for 3 hours we took a break and had our lunch in McDonald. We reached hostel after 4 and hours of driving. We kept our belongings in room and left to see the night life of Hamburg. We had a delicious dinner at "CAO" that was a Chinese fusion restaurant.
Food, Ambiance, and Hospitality was on point. After dinner we walked around the city and returned to hostel because all of us were tired.
Next day, (Saturday) we started our day quite early. We had our breakfast at a family operated cafe. Atmosphere in that cafe was very homely and food was amazing.
I had Banana and Nutella french toast with a cup of hot cappuccino. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast. Once we were done with the breakfast we went for sightseeing and shopping. We walked around the city and enjoyed the architecture and culture. We were not able to do much because of the rain hence, we ended up in shopping mall.
Sunday, it was the day to return back home. We had to leave our hostel at 11 am so we woke up quite early and headed to have our breakfast. We went to a French Cafe to have our breakfast. I had vegetable quiche, french croissant with a cup of cappuccino.

After breakfast we started our journey to home. Though it was a small trip I enjoyed it a lot. We were 5 girls from 5 different nationality. This was fully a cultural trip for me. I learned about culture beside seeing a new city. I will definitely go back to Hamburg to see more of it.

Walk around the Belgian streets

Best part about the trip to Brussels was walking around the city. Every street has its own beauty. when you walk around the street you see the different cultures. The city has beauty of mix cultures. You will observe different shopping streets, I must say Brussels is full of thrift shops. There is food street where you can find almost every cuisine however, try Belgian steaks. Every street has its own beauty. However, I loved the food street. I traveled in summer hence I could not see the night life. I have heard that night life is mesmerizing in Brussels.    That's all for today's post. In next post I will talk about the famous church in Belgium.

Whenever we have some skin issue we try to look for grandma's recipe, sometimes we even try DIY recipes which we see in Instagram, Facebook, or we search for them in google. Do you know that there are lot of ingredients which are harmful for your skin? which may burn your skin or make your acne or pimples worse. One day I came across a video in YouTube which says toothpaste help to dry your acne and eventually helps to get rid of them and the procedure to use was 'apply toothpaste in your acne and leave it overnight, in the morning wash it with your regular face wash'. So I did the way I saw in video though next day I felt its working, but guess what??? after using for 3 days, I noticed that I was getting black spots wherever I applied toothpaste and skin became dry and started pe...

Breath Taking Blue Mosque of Istanbul

Blue Mosque is one of the iconic Tourist spot of Istanbul. I have seen the mosque in Television and on social media. Experiencing the view and the architectural beauty from very close was an exceptional experience for me. Blue Mosque is also known as Sultan Ahmed Mosque. The interior of the mosque is exceptional and the architecture is mesmerizing. The detailing of the mosque is amazing. Well, the mosque is still functioning hence, it is important to visit the mosque when it is not prayer time. The dome is has its own detailed artwork. The light can pass through the dome work. There are detailed lamps and lantern in the dome.  It is definitely a experience that no one should miss.
