Is Paris Over hyped?

Paris the city of love. You are thinking of travelling to Europe? I am sure all your friends and family already told you that you have to visit Paris right?
Paris is one of most tourist attract destination in Europe. As per tourist leaving Europe without travelling to Paris is biggest mistake of your life. I have visited Paris in July. In summer Paris is packed with tourist. You need to be extra careful with your belongings when you travelling in summer. Stay, Tour cost and Food everything becomes more expensive in summer. I have visited 10 cities in Europe in 1 year I must say that Paris is the most Over rated European city. the glitz and glamour that we see in pictures or on social media just create this illusion in our head that drags us to this city. When you see the city all the glitz and glamour are missing.

Everything is over priced and quality is missing. i must say that you will hardly see any French culture here in Paris. I am sure that if you go to other city of France it would be easy for you to see and experience the France culture, do not expect any cultural aspects here in Paris.

The tourist places are great though, but I did not found anything special in these tourist places. I was highly disappointed seeing the park around the Eiffel Tour because it was dirty and full of homeless people. i am sure you do not expected from one of the hyped European city.

I realized that social media only shows the glitz of a city it never shows the flip side of the city. On the other hand, may be I had high expectations from the city that I has disappointed after visiting it.
I must say that the city was not clean enough either. I can imagine the amount of tourist this city gets it could be hard to keep it clean.

Every street is full of small shops and people are desperate to sell their stuffs. They can be bothering at a point. I could be judgmental at this point but I am just trying to show the other part of the Paris which most of the people do not show.

You can see more posts and pictures on my Instagram @Nauveerasdiary. For today that's all. I will be back with another blog post soon.

Walk around the Belgian streets

Best part about the trip to Brussels was walking around the city. Every street has its own beauty. when you walk around the street you see the different cultures. The city has beauty of mix cultures. You will observe different shopping streets, I must say Brussels is full of thrift shops. There is food street where you can find almost every cuisine however, try Belgian steaks. Every street has its own beauty. However, I loved the food street. I traveled in summer hence I could not see the night life. I have heard that night life is mesmerizing in Brussels.    That's all for today's post. In next post I will talk about the famous church in Belgium.

5 Things that you should never use on your face

Whenever we have some skin issue we try to look for grandma's recipe, sometimes we even try DIY recipes which we see in Instagram, Facebook, or we search for them in google. Do you know that there are lot of ingredients which are harmful for your skin? which may burn your skin or make your acne or pimples worse. Lets talk about products or ingredients which we should never ever use in our face from my experience. 1. Toothpaste  -  I have acne problem so I was looking for a solution to get rid of them. One day I came across a video in YouTube which says toothpaste help to dry your acne and eventually helps to get rid of them and the procedure to use was 'apply toothpaste in your acne and leave it overnight, in the morning wash it with your regular face wash'. So I did the way I saw in video though next day I felt its working, but guess what??? after using for 3 days, I noticed that I was getting black spots wherever I applied toothpaste and skin became dry and started pe...

Things to do in Lisbon

Lisbon the capital city of Portugal. The city is beautiful and the cultural experience that I had there exceeded my expectation. I stayed there for 3 days so, I wanted to make the most out of the trip. In today's blog I will talk about my favorite spots in Lisbon. I loved Belem tower in Lisbon. The Belem tower is situated at the heart of the town. the tower was built in 1514 and in 1983 it was classified as the world heritage site by UNESCO. The architecture and the view surrounding this heritage was very fascinating. The tower has five floors and the view from the roof is worth the hard ride. Climbing the narrow spiral staircase is a task itself. I was lucky that I traveled in January hence, it was not busy otherwise, you have to wait for hours to climb the top.   It is mandatory to get the tickets to get inside. They have a student discount in place with the student discount I paid only 3 euros which was very affordable. Every floor and the architecture has its...
