Travelling To Denmark

Denmark or Kingdom of Denmark. It is a Nordic country that is situated on the northwestern side of Europe. This country is pretty expensive to travel. I met my Danish friend when I was doing my Specialization in Netherlands. she insisted me to travel to Denmark and enjoy her hospitality. I visited her in my Autumn break. I traveled to Denmark with Flix Bus and it was a 10 hours ride from Netherlands. Well, it was not hard for me as I took the nigh bus. We passed the Hamburg to reach Denmark. I was going to Aarhus that is the second largest city of the Denmark right after Copenhagen. I stayed at my friends place. Moreover, I was staying at hers for 4 days. She was my tour guide and the host.
It was cold in Aarhus however, it was not windy. My friend came to pick me up from the station. I reached Denmark around 9 am in the morning. At first we went to her place and I was welcomed with a nice warm danish breakfast. She baked some croissant, danish pastries and coffee for the breakfast.

After having a filling breakfast we went for sightseeing. She took me to her Bridal store and later we experienced the natural beauty of the city. In between we grabbed some warm lunch.

More about the trip and the sight seeing will be on the upcoming posts for that stay with me. Thank you.

Lisbon from the Top

Portugal is a hilly country, Lisbon city was made cutting the hills. When you will walk around the city you will see that they do not have any straight road to walk, all the way is up and down. The old city of Lisbon has the highest view point from where you can enjoy the whole view of the city. to reach the top you can either take a Tuk Tuk ride or just walk yourself. There are alternate rides as well like tram, bus and taxi. I have walked little bit at the beginning. You can enjoy the mid view from the point called Miradoura Das portas de sol. This is the view point from a terrace bar.  To reach the highest point of the city I had to take a tuk tuk ride which was for 20 mins if I walked it would have taken me almost 1 hour to reach the top. the highest point is called Miradoura de santa catarina. They highest point is very windy you feel the wind hard there. They view is worth all the struggle and the endless ride. You see the miniature of the Lisbon from the top. you can se...

Suddenly, one of my friend suggested that why don;t we go for a road trip on coming weekend. spontaneously, we made the plan that we will visit Hamburg as that is the nearest destination from Leeuwarden. Trip time is only 4 hours from Leeuwarden. We sat in cafe for 2 hours and planned the whole trip, we booked the car and decided to stay in hostel. Walk around the Belgian streets

Best part about the trip to Brussels was walking around the city. Every street has its own beauty. when you walk around the street you see the different cultures. The city has beauty of mix cultures. You will observe different shopping streets, I must say Brussels is full of thrift shops. There is food street where you can find almost every cuisine however, try Belgian steaks. Every street has its own beauty. However, I loved the food street. I traveled in summer hence I could not see the night life. I have heard that night life is mesmerizing in Brussels.    That's all for today's post. In next post I will talk about the famous church in Belgium.
