I have visited Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal in January. In January the flight tickets are more cheaper than the summer. The flight from Netherlands to Lisbon was 3 hours. The weather in Lisbon was amazing it was 17 degree. I stayed there for 3 days. Every day I went to different tourist locations and enjoyed the food and culture. I have enjoyed the fresh fishes from the sea in Lisbon. I saw lot of Portuguese culture all around the city which was very fascinating and made my heart happy. I stayed in Airbnb which was affordable and the best option for a student budget trip.  More from the Portugal trip will be on my blog soon.   

Blue Mosque is one of the iconic Tourist spot of Istanbul. I have seen the mosque in Television and on social media. Experiencing the view and the architectural beauty from very close was an exceptional experience for me. Blue Mosque is also known as Sultan Ahmed Mosque. The interior of the mosque is exceptional and the architecture is mesmerizing. The detailing of the mosque is amazing. Well, the mosque is still functioning hence, it is important to visit the mosque when it is not prayer time. The dome is has its own detailed artwork. The light can pass through the dome work. There are detailed lamps and lantern in the dome.  It is definitely a experience that no one should miss.  

I landed in Turkey by accident. I know it all sounds funny and ridiculous. Well let me tell you the story and how it happened. So, the story is... Finally after 1 year I booked my flights to Doha. As I bought the last minute ticket hence, I booked my flight with Pegasus airlines it is a Turkey flag bearing airline. It is a budget airline and lat minute tickets were very expensive hence, they were the only cheap option I had. I had 1 and half hour transit time. So, I had my flight on 13th of December. the first flight was from Amsterdam and the second one was from Istanbul. I reached Istanbul on time. I passed the check point and I was hungry as I did not had anything on the flight. I bought a chicken salad from Subway and I walked to the gate. I visited my friend in Denmark. As mentioned in the earlier post my friend is Danish and she lives in Aarhus. I stayed 4 days in Denmark. My friend was hosting me. It was a expensive trip for me as everything is very expensive in Denmark. However, I am grateful to my friend that she hosted me. She was my tour guide. We explored the city deeply second day. We walked around the and street grabbed some Breakfast early morning. We visited the Aarhus art museum. It had all the neon lights that was eye blinding. After museum we went to the botanical garden. In the botanical garden they have bought the whole world under one roof. they have managed to showcase the temperature and the botanic of each continents differently. Denmark or Kingdom of Denmark. It is a Nordic country that is situated on the northwestern side of Europe. This country is pretty expensive to travel. I met my Danish friend when I was doing my Specialization in Netherlands. she insisted me to travel to Denmark and enjoy her hospitality. I visited her in my Autumn break. I traveled to Denmark with Flix Bus and it was a 10 hours ride from Netherlands. Well, it was not hard for me as I took the nigh bus. We passed the Hamburg to reach Denmark. Paris the city of love. You are thinking of travelling to Europe? I am sure all your friends and family already told you that you have to visit Paris right? Paris is one of most tourist attract destination in Europe. As per tourist leaving Europe without travelling to Paris is biggest mistake of your life. I have visited Paris in July. The disadvantage of travelling in summer to Paris is that you cannot enjoy the night light life of Paris. The days are longer in summer which takes away the lighting beauty of Paris that we see in magazines or on social media. However, to spend my evening in Paris I decided to visit the museum Louvre. Louvre is the largest art museum of the world. If you are a art lover you should not miss the chance to visit Louvre if you are in Paris. The good news for students is that in France you can have 10% student discount in any museum and in Louvre students have free entry.  The arts were mesmerizing, unfortunately I was not allowed to take any pictures inside. I was highly disappointed. However, the outside of the museum was amazing, it just felt like an art.  I reached there around 6 pm which was golden hour to take pictures. Paris the city of love, city of lights, city of fashion and many more. After exploring Brussels I traveled to Paris. I read a lot about french culture and it was always fascinating to me. I took Flix bus to travel to Paris. Flix bus was the cheapest option for me to travel in summer to Paris. As I traveled to Paris in Summer hence, I failed to see the night life. I have heard from my friends that Paris looks different in night, according to them it look more beautiful. I was tired after the bus ride. It was a three hours ride from Brussels to Paris. The morning was fresh and beautiful. I was excited for the French Breakfast. Hence, I woke up early and walked to the old streets for the hunt of authentic and cheap breakfast deal. I visited the famous and most talked about church in Brussels. the name of the church is Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula. This is medieval roman church in the heart of Brussels. The interior of this church is Breath taking. This church is one of the biggest tourist attraction of Brussels. I want mention an important thing and that is Brussels is famous for the Church, this city has lots of ancient and extravagant churches. The exterior of the church looks old however, the interior is modified every year.  It was a nice experience for me to visit the church and learn about the catholic culture. Most importantly, I was amazed by the interior and the details. 

Best part about the trip to Brussels was walking around the city. Every street has its own beauty. when you walk around the street you see the different cultures. The city has beauty of mix cultures. You will observe different shopping streets, I must say Brussels is full of thrift shops. There is food street where you can find almost every cuisine however, try Belgian steaks. Every street has its own beauty. However, I loved the food street. I traveled in summer hence I could not see the night life. I have heard that night life is mesmerizing in Brussels.    That's all for today's post. In next post I will talk about the famous church in Belgium.   

Belgium was an amazing experience for me. It is famous for it's production of chocolate. Well, I did tried lot of chocolates there. I must say chocolates in Belgium tastes incredible. have visited the tourist destinations which was underwhelming for me. The best part of Belgium is their food culture and the chocolates. I have been to Brussels which is the capital city of Belgium, it was very crowded and over hyped. I guess I was expecting too much from the city hence, I was disappointed. Grand Place was the best part of the trip. They had a big bazaar near the place, where you could try different types of Belgian waffle and chocolates.     Belgian waffle with dark chocolate and a cappuccino was the best breakfast of the trip.
